Hurricane Forecast Videos Storm Surge and 5 Day Forecast

The National Hurricane Center has made short videos to better explain two new forecasting methods. The first video is of the 5 Day Graphical Tropical Weather Outlook. The 5 Day forecast succeeds the old 3 day forecast. Using color coding and tracking, the NHC is able to show potential storms in a map format.
The second video is the Potential Storm Surge Flooding Map. This map shows flooding due to storm surge on land.
