Bridge Falls on Yacht

A bridge in the Miami area fell onto a yacht during high winds and rain. The Bay Harbor Island bridge is scheduled for maintenance next year but that didn't help the 160' Trinity built yacht. The yacht "Rockstar" (ex. Blind Date) was under tow when one span fell onto the boat midway through the passage of the bridge. On board were two captains as the new captain was being familiarized with the charter boat prior to his taking over. Luckily, no one was injured and damage was only to the hard top of the aluminium yacht. "Rockstar" then continued immediately under tow for Fort Lauderdale for repair to be ready for the upcoming charter season. W.R.
